September 24th Update - Ralston Valley wide receiver JJ Galbreath
How has everything been going so far for the football season?
“So far this season has been going very smoothly for me individually. I’ve had great playing time on offense as WR/TE and defense at an outside backer. We have had a couple injuries on the team, but thankfully they are all recovering fast.”
Where specifically do you feel your team can get better at?
“I believe that we don’t have anything super big to work on as a team, but just the little things such as doing your own responsibilities and playing to the best of your potential. Other than that, our team has a good bond and gets along really well.”
What will allow your team to reach their full potential this season?
“This season I believe that communication and playing for each other as teammates will help us reach our maximum potential.”
Do you want to play football in college?
“I would love to play football in college, and I have such a great passion for the game.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I went to some camps over the summer like Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Northern Iowa. Wyoming and North Dakota would like to see some film this season is what information I received from them.”
What schools have you committed to?
“South Dakota was recruiting me the most and I just recently committed there.”
Do you have any plans for upcoming college visits?
“I’m not 100% sure yet, but I am trying to find out a date that I can go on my official visit for South Dakota.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, the Oregon Ducks were my favorite football team based on their intensity playing the game. I also loved their uniforms and how every game they would come out with new ones.”
