September 19th Update - Bayfield quarterback Hayden Farmer
How has the football season been going for your team?
“I feel we are playing really good. Our defense has been outstanding. We have kids that fly around. Our offense has too many weapons to choose from and a great offensive line. It has been really fun.”
What areas can your team improve on?
“Probably our pass defense and offensively we can get better at short routes underneath. We got little things to improve on.”
What do you know about your next opponent in Gunnison?
“I am not really sure. I think any team can be a problem.”
What are the keys for your team to be successful?
“It is just being consistent with what we are doing. If we stay consistent and stay together as a brotherhood, it’ll be a fun ride.”
Do you want to play football in college?
“It depends because I play baseball too. I am just trying to look for a sport I can get a scholarship in. I love all of them.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I actually haven’t gotten any football letters yet and not really anything for baseball. I think after my junior year we’ll see what happens.”
Is there a sporting preference?
“Like I said, I love all three of them. I am just playing it out right now. With baseball, I have a good shot. I have also heard a lot of people say that I can play college football at quarterback. I am not sure yet.”
