“My season this year was really fun, I learned a lot from coaches and the experience of varsity football. I think we had a good season as a young team, and we are working hard to have a better one next year.”

“It went well, it was with a first-year system so we needed to smooth out the bumps in the first few games then we started figuring it out.”

“I have been going down to the SixZero Academy for training and I also have been working on rehabbing my left knee and getting stronger.”

“I feel that our team will be a lot better than last year, we have a big senior class that knows the plays well so we will hopefully be a very sound team.”

“I’m pretty sure we will play Columbine next season so they will definitely give us some tough competition as they are defending state champs.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season record wasn't what we hoped for, but that just leaves plenty of room for improvement next season. Individually, I was glad to exceed my personal goals, play alongside my younger brother, and finish the season without any injury; I can't ask for much more than that.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My wrestling season ended with a 36-13 personal record including an appearance at the state tournament. Track starts next week, so I'm looking forward to getting outside, spending time with the track team, and hopefully qualifying for state in the hurdles again. I plan on continuing off-season work with the football team in the mornings.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think having some seniors on the roster will do a lot to help us show up competitively, especially against new opponents we haven't played yet. I know of some upcoming changes in coaching roles as well as player positions, so I have high hopes those changes prove successful as well.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Let's just say we have our work cut out for us, no matter the opponent. Berthoud is always a tough team, but we can't overlook the Wellington rivalry either.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Wellington Quarterback Tanner Gray is a significant threat in size and leadership, which has proven lethal in past games. Our paths have crossed a bit during the wrestling season and my respect for him has only grown. I'm excited for our next match up.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would be thrilled and extremely humbled to have the opportunity to play football or run track in college. The life of a collegiate athlete requires lots of time in the gym and on the field. Add on the pressures of academic performance and social demands and there's no doubt, it will require discipline and hard work- both of which I'm profoundly familiar with.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I've had several smaller schools show potential interest, but so far, no school has offered anything official.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Wyoming invited me to Junior Day, so I assume (and hope) I'm someone they're considering; I really want to go there. In addition, Western Colorado has shown interest according to Coach. Again, nothing formal or official.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes- I plan to join ROTC, so we've toured the following schools to check out their ROTC Detachments: Oregon, Oregon State, CSU, CU, Air Force Academy, and Wyoming.”

“Any school that shows interest or invites me to anything official, I'd definitely make the trip for.”

This year we went 5-6 and made first round playoffs but lost in the first round but overall we as a team did well. As for me I improved a lot, over the preseason worked on a lot of stuff and that transitioned to having a great season and accomplished some of my goals.”

“My plans for now are to continue working out and to put on some more weight and just continue to keep improving. I’m also going to be doing track again this year. I will get faster this season and even make a state appearance.”

“I think we will compete; we’re excited for the challenge of playing in a tough division and showing we are ready to compete. As far as workouts, I stay training year-round and never let any other sports get in the way of me perfecting my craft. I love my football workouts and competing in the off season. I’ve been working at it for so long and I want to continue to get better as a football and athlete.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think we will compete; we’re excited for the challenge of playing in a tough division and showing we are ready to compete. I feel we have players on this team that are capable of playing at any level across the nation. I feel a few guys will have that opportunity to display that at the college level.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I saw where we are in the Jeffco league with Columbine and Chatfield and Ralston Valley, it’s tough to choose out of those three teams. I’m just going to say every team in the division is going to bring it. All are well coached and competitive.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“The toughest individual player we will face in my opinion will be ourselves. It’s a new season and a new experience for all of us in a new conference.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season overall went pretty good. We had a team full of kids new to Varsity football so we had a couple bumps along the way. But once we got rolling we were starting to figure it out.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plan is to join the Team Full Gorilla 7v7 team and start to get ready for track. I am doing some indoor track meets. Then with the rest of my time I am training with Pursuit Sports Performance and my wide receiver trainer Greyson Bankhead.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think our team is going to be pretty good next year. We get a lot of guys back and especially the guys that were big contributors to our team like Jake Toshcoff, Colton Pawlak, Mason Griffin, Nate Ceshcin, and Nick Kubat.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel like our toughest competition is definitely going to be Columbine. They just won the state championship so they are definitely going to try to go back-to-back.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I feel like the toughest individual player we will face is Jordan Rechel. He is a really quick and elusive wide receiver which makes him really tough to defend. He also plays as a defensive back for Fairview. This makes him really tough to go against since he is such a good all-around player.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“We were happy to get our first wins as a program, and kicking a game-winning field goal for our first ever win against Academy was a highlight! We showed a lot of improvement as a team, but we wanted more wins, and we’re looking forward to doing better in 2024.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Our whole team is hitting the weight room; we’re all working to get stronger and faster in the off season. I’m kicking and punting several times a week and attending some camps and showcases.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think we’ll have a strong season. It’ll be our first year with seniors, and we have a lot of talented players who are going to be even stronger in 2024.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“We’ll be in a new league next year. I don’t know which team will be toughest, but I know Windsor will be a strong team.”

“I think Tanner Gray.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“This season we actually did well and have improved from last year when our record was 1-9. This year we went 5-6 and made first round playoffs but lost in the first round but overall we as a team did well. As for me I improved a lot, over the preseason worked on a lot of stuff and that transitioned to having a great season and accomplished some of my goals.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans for now are to continue working out and to put on some more weight and just continue to keep improving. I’m also going to be doing track again this year. I will get faster this season and even make a state appearance.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think next year we will do even better and continue to work harder than before since we know what it takes. I see us going even deeper into the playoffs, we have a lot of potential.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“This high school football season was a learning experience for me as it was my first year as starting running back for varsity. Also dealt with an injury midway through the season.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My current plans are to start running track again and me and my team are getting back in the weight room and on the field to prepare for this season moving up to 4A.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I believe that this season will be very successful for us at GW with our QB Hayes Dwyer leading us off again this year and the rest of our senior squad this year ready to grind and play ball and show these teams that we can really dominate on the field.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“The toughest team that I’m looking forward to is Montbello, we played a pretty tough game against them this previous season. But this next time we’re going to have a way different outcome.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“The toughest individual player we will face off is definitely Joseph Owens from the Warriors squad. Really hard-working guy, great leader for his team, I think that’s going to be a battle between me and him.”
