How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“I feel our season is going well, of course we have had some crushing losses to some great teams, but I feel each loss has taught us something and made us better.”
Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I think I have played very well this season. Comparing myself now from my sophomore season on varsity I think I’ve made a lot of improvements when it comes to my game.”
How do you feel your team has played?
“My team has played very well, with the new edition on defense of Jeff Baca, I feel our D has only gotten better since that move. On offense all things have been clicking for us.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“We’re a very young team, we’ve flipped the script from last year, last year we only had two non-senior starters being Gavin Taylor and I. We definitely have a lot to work on just like everyone else does.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“I’ve noticed a trend with all of our wins, our wins come from when we start out fast, stick to our jobs, and execute 11 as one. Those are the keys to us winning.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would love to continue playing football in college, I love competing and I want to see what the next stage has to offer after high school.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“A couple of schools have been recruiting me, Colorado and K-State.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I feel CU is recruiting me the most, getting a lot of love from them.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yeah, I’ve been on a few. I’ve been to Oregon State, Utah, Colorado, and Colorado State.”
Do you have plans for game day trips?
“Yes, I’m actually going to be up in Oregon this weekend to watch Oregon State play Colorado. Should be a good game.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes, growing up I always watched Oregon State because of my dad. My dad was an all PAC-12 offensive tackle at Oregon State. Michigan always found a way to make me watch their game though. I’ve loved Michigan since I was growing up.”
