Fairview: The dream season for the Knights has continued with two dominating
playoff victories by wide margins. This team has stayed focused and not
let the #1 seed get to their head. Anders Hill has passed for over 3,000
yards this fall and Sam Martin is nearing the 1,500 yard mark receiving.
This club has a knack for moving the chains.

Pomona: As nearly the complete opposite of Fairview, Pomona has
relied on a dominant line and a soon to be all state running back in Chris
Marquez to dominate. This senior has gone over the 2,000 yard rushing mark
in 2013. Their offense has really been ready down the stretch and it
shows.

The Difference: The motivation that
Pomona has following their narrow regular season loss. Weather does not
appear to be a factor but the Pomona rushing attack seems better suited for a

ThunderRidge: An excellent crop of seniors at ThunderRidge has continued their

been crucial to this club.
Most Valuable Player: The ThunderRidge offensive

Grandview: With two straight playoff upsets, few expected Grandview to
still be alive but this team has a knack for coming together late and it shows.
The junior rushing duo of Chukwuma Obinnah and Ben Marshall has really helped
the Wolves come together at the perfect tiime.

football field in all facets of the game. Christian McCaffrey has used a
dominating offensive line to rack up some jaw dropping numbers. This
football factor finds a way to put up huge numbers and win ball games.

Christian McCaffrey
Columbine: Bernard McDonald and Jeremy Aparicio have
totaled over 2,500 yards on the ground while making it clear that they can carry
this offense. The Rebels have lost one game all season but have their
toughest test of the season against an elite club in Valor.

The Difference: The Eagles have
the size up front to wear on Columbine and it shows in the second half of this

Cherry Creek: Getting Nathan Starks has only added another weapon to a potent
group at Cherry Creek. Combined with Milo Hall, this club has one of the
top running back duos in the state. The Bruins have also been strong
defensively during the postseason as well.

Cherokee Trail: Do they have what it takes to avenge an early October
loss that could have gone either way? Aric Johnson, Cameron Smith, Jacob
Martin, Evan White, and a host of others certainly hope so. The Cougars
are experienced, athletic, and motivated to get another shot against #1 rated
Valor Christian.
