#8 Denver South vs. #1 Montrose

Montrose: The #1 seed has not stopped Montrose and this club still knows that
they have unfinished business to do. Mike Rocha has done an excellent job
stepping up at running back and has carried this team offensively.
Most Valuable Player:
Mike Rocha
Denver South: After losing two straight early in the year, Denver
South really has opened things up offensively with six straight victories.
Zachary Lindsay has dominated with the football in his hands with over 1,500
yards rushing.
Most Valuable Player: Zachary Lindsay

Prediction: Montrose 31, Denver South 28
The Difference: Montrose has been
more consistent all year long and it shows here.

Percentage Chance of Lower Seed Upset: 40%

#13 Dakota Ridge vs. #5 Pueblo
South
Pueblo South: A balanced attack offensively that has helped Pueblo
South put up some large numbers are why this team has lived another day.
Few are giving them much credit but they have nothing to lose regardless of the
seeding in this battle.
Most Valuable Player: Nathan Spinuzzi
Dakota Ridge:
A major first round upset that came down to the wire has helped Dakota Ridge
live another day on the football field. Aaron Nelson and company have
helped this team battle against a tough schedule to get this far into the
process.
Most
Valuable Player: Aaron Nelson

Prediction: Dakota Ridge 24, Pueblo South 22
The Difference: Dakota Ridge
has played a much tougher schedule and that comes into play here.

Percentage Chance of Lower Seed Upset: 55%

#6 Windsor vs. #3 Pine Creek

Pine Creek: A 1-2 start out of the gate couldn't stop Pine Creek early on.
Since losing to Columbine and Pine Creek, this club has reeled off seven
straight wins and has a lot of momentum around their program. Balance
offensively and a tough defense have been crucial to their winning ways.
Most Valuable Player:
Tommy Lazzaro
Windsor: The senior class at Windsor has been outstanding in
filling spots due to graduation. Blake Bunday has over 1,000 yards rushing
and has seen his offensive line make a lot of big plays around him. Tanner
Baum has racked up over 100 tackles.
Most Valuable Player: Blake Bunday

Prediction: Pine Creek 27, Windsor 20
The Difference: The overall
athleticism has helped Pine Creek in recent weeks and it shows up here late.

Percentage Chance of Lower Seed Upset: 40%

#7 Loveland vs. #2 Monarch

Monarch: The defending champions have scored at least 34 points in every game
that they have played this fall. Getting healthy has been crucial but this
team has experience, athleticism, and weapons to dominate in the postseason once
again.
Most Valuable Player: Ethan Marks
Loveland: Few may be
picking Loveland here but this group has been outstanding all season and
doubting this group makes them very dangerous. Jacob Weinmaster and a host
of athletes will keep the Indians in this game.
Most Valuable Player:
Jacob Weinmaster

Prediction: Monarch 36, Loveland 24
The Difference: The postseason
experience of Monarch

Percentage Chance of Lower Seed Upset: 15%
