“I have been very happy with how our team has played. We have gone up against one of the top 5A teams, Mountain Vista and did very well. I feel like we have a solid team with so many talented players. Our coaches are top of the line in developing players and challenge us each and every day to be better. They prepare us on every level. We have gone through rigorous training and development on so many levels. I truly believe the top teams have a combination of great talent, a strong work ethic, and coaches who know how to develop and challenge a team.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I have put in a lot of hard work on and off of the field for most of my life, but I have really challenged myself on all levels over the past year. I feel like I had a good start, but I am truly never content with how I play. I go over and over the plays all the time to see how I can do better for my team.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“My team has played great! I am truly surrounded by a group of teammates who are committed 100-percent. They have become family to me. These guys go out there and put everything on the line. I have so many teammates who have come to me during the off season to train and we are always in the gym and talking about how we can improve. I feel blessed to be on this team.”

“I feel in any competitive sport, no one is happy until they succeed on every level. We are starting out this season against two of the top teams in the state. Both Mountain Vista and Arapahoe are in 5A. I want us to keep working as a team to take our game to the next level. We have so many talented and hardworking players on our team who all feel we want to go out and fight harder to win all of the coming games.”

“I think it’s a continuation of our hard work behind the scenes. We have the talent on the field and our coaches are the best in the state.
