Update - Pueblo County quarterback Cohen Glenn
How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“The football season has been going well. We have been playing. The team has done a great job with overcoming adversity and I believe this team could do something special. The offense has been rolling and the defense has been doing their job.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I have been pleased with how I’ve played this season but there are always things to work on and get better at. There are always those plays at the end of the game where you are thinking if I had just done this little thing the outcome might have been different. There’s always what-ifs but overall I have been really happy with how my team and I have played.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“The team has played well this year. There were few games this year that we lost that as a team we felt we should have won but that's just how football goes. Overall we have played tough.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“As a team I think that we can improve on winning the big games. We have struggled with winning the big games throughout the season. I think that as a team we almost get too excited about the big games and we try to do too much. I also think we need to improve on believing as a team that we can win the big games and that we are a really good team. We just have to play like it.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Our keys for being successful moving forward is to not try and do too much and just play as one. As long as everyone does their job and what they are supposed to do we will be set. We need to stay focused on what we need to do and execute it. The linemen need to hold their blocks and the running backs will run hard. I, as the quarterback, need to make good reads and give my receivers a chance to go and make a play.”

......................................................................................................
Update - Timnath running back Mitchell Deangelis
How did/is everything going football wise as of late?
“Everything as of right now with football is going great. I’ve been working hard this offseason to gain weight and continue to get faster and stronger.”

“The last two seasons have been pretty good. This past season I got the opportunity to be a team captain. I’m pushing myself to continue to get more rushing and returning yards. I definitely feel like there is lots of room for me to grow and continue to better myself for my junior and senior seasons in the future.”

How do you feel about the play of your team?
“The play of my team has had its downs and ups. Currently, what I think we need to focus on is playing at a constant pace that we can keep up with so that everyone is on the same page. We have improved dramatically since the first year of Timnath football.”

What are your sporting goals going forward as of now?
“Going forward my sporting goals are continuing to get a better knowledge of football overall and becoming the best player I can possibly be. I’m trying to gain better exposure to colleges by going to camps. Learning all the techniques that they teach helps me continue to improve my game for my upcoming seasons.”

......................................................................................................
Update - Buena Vista running back Tray Cardwell
How did/is everything going football wise as of late?
“Our season ended in the quarterfinals against Meeker but overall our young team played really well all season and I am happy with our finish.”

What do you feel your team can continue to improve on going forward?

Have you been pleased with your performances?

Update - Arvada West running back Adrian Symalla

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Our season has been up and down for sure, but we are in the state playoffs waiting to see who we will play in the first round. So that part is good for sure. Playing in 5A Jeffco is super tough, 5A is a gauntlet for sure so we’ll have to be at our best to make a deep run in the playoffs.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“Yes, I am pleased with my play so far this season. After starting as a freshman on varsity last year, having a successful season and learning so much so young, I wanted to put that experience into my play this season. College coaches, my recruiting coordinator Joe Mento, my trainer Tommy Flanagan and my Head Coach Brad Pyatt all gave me things I needed to improve on to show that growth needed to be able to play at the next level. I work 6 days a week on those things and become the best student athlete I can be.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“My team has played well, but we are inconsistent. We are very young, we start 17 sophomores between offense and defense. I think that has a lot to do with our inconsistent play. We are learning though and are really talented so if we can play a complete game we will be very dangerous in the playoffs.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?

Update - Fountain-Fort Carson offensive center Eric Grider
How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Our season has been going well. We’re currently 5-1 after a tough loss to Pine Creek but we’re gearing up to play Legend at home this week and get after them. It’ll be a good one for sure.”

When we play like I know we can, we dominate.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I think we need to work on our tempo. We get into our heads and doubt ourselves and then when we go out to play a game, we don’t play like the team we are.”
