Recruiting: “Right now it has just been CSU-Pueblo.”

Fairview lineman Connor Spencer
Recruiting: “I have an offer from Northern Colorado and I’ve been talking to
Tulsa, Georgia Tech, and Northwestern is trying to come up with an offer. I
don’t know if I want to go to an academy but Air Force, Navy, and Army all said
that I have a spot if I choose that route.”
The UNC offer: “That was two
weeks ago and it was really awesome. It has been my goal my entire life. It is
awesome and hopefully I can get a few more.”
His thoughts on UNC: “They
have a cool program. I went to their camp last year and I really liked their
program. I’m looking at getting a degree in Engineering so we’ll see if I choose
to go there. I definitely enjoy that school.”
A favorite: “I don’t have a
favorite. I just want to keep my options open.”

Grand Junction athlete Kaleb Johnson
Recruiting: “Lately it has just been Colorado Mesa and Western. I haven't
heard much from some of the bigger schools like UNC and those colleges.”
Calls: “Colorado Mesa has, Western has, and I talked on the phone to
CSU-Pueblo.”

Monarch linebacker Peter Mitchell
Offers: “It is the same right now. Wyoming, New Mexico State, and Montana are
the ones.”
Others that have not offered: It has been schools like CU,
CSU, a little bit from Arizona State, and a little from Boise.”
Close to
offering: “I think so. I think it might be CU and CSU maybe.”
Visits
coming up: “I’ll probably go and see Wyoming here some time. I might try and get
to New Mexico State.”
A favorite: “Right now, not really. Everything is
up in the sky.”

Chatfield linebacker Shawn Berry
Recruiting: “It has been Oregon, Cornell, Wyoming, ASU, CSU, CU, and
Virginia.”
Calls: “CSU, Southwest Minnesota State, and Cornell. That is
all I’ve talked to on the phone.”
Visits: “I’ve gone to game day visits
at CSU and CU. I liked them. They were both a lot of fun.”
Offers:
“Oregon offered me a preferred walk-on. It would be great to play at Oregon but
I don’t know if I want to pay $40,000 a year to play scout team until I am a
senior.”
Note: Oregon State has also offered a walk-on opportunity as
well.
